Tibs survived by picking pockets; until he’s caught.
Instead of losing a hand, he’s sent away and told he must now survive a dungeon.
How is a kid who knew nothing more than his street supposed to survive a dungeon that changes each time he goes in it?

After being orphaned far too young, Tibs grew up on the harsh streets of his city, stealing for his survival. As harsh as they were, they didn’t prepare him for what happened when he was caught for picking a pocket.
His stay in the cell was short. Where he was sent instead was something he could never have imagined. To a newly discovered dungeon, to run it over and over until he died or became strong enough to be of use.
The life of a Dungeon Runner is harsher than his street; the connection to the others like him easy to make, and easier to lose. Running away isn’t a viable option, but if there is one thing his Street had taught Tibs, it’s to get up after he’s been kicked down.
So Tibs is going to fight on because there is something he needs to do, and for that, he’s got to find ways, approved or not, of surviving; and maybe of gaining the upper hand on those who think they can hold him down.
Tibs might have been a street thief, but he a Dungeon Rogue now. And if there’s one thing that’s made clear, it’s that rogues don’t play by the rules.

Tibs survived running the dungeon, the death of friends and acquaintances, acquiring more elements than he was told is possible, and a betrayal that cut deeper than if a knife had been used.

Mostly healed, he is back in Kragle Rock for more runs through the dungeon (and a new floor), more headaches, new friends, and a new enemy with a link to someone close to him.
With the guild continuing not to live up to Tibs’s expectation, and status as the savior of the dungeon coming with perks that might have hidden daggers attached to them, Tibs will need to make hard decisions as to where his loyalties lie and make alliances with people he'd never speak with, under better circumstances.
When Kragle Rock comes under attack, who will step up to help him, and who will simply let it happen?

Water is there to soothe, but Ice keeps the pain of what happened away.

Kragle Rock and Tibs survived Sebastian's devastating attacks, but at a cost. Wrapping his heart in ice, Tibs makes plans to make those responsible pay. But taking down the guild is no easy task, Tibs will need strength, and for his friends not to get in his way. And, of course, Sebastian isn't done with Tibs, even if he's dead.

But the Dungeon will soon open the fourth floor, which comes with its own surprises, but more importantly, ways to grow stronger. Maybe strong enough to remove those who stand in the way of his revenge.
In the end, will Tibs's friend be strong enough to keep him from going to far? will Tibs let them stop him? and when his town falls sick, will Tibs be too far gone to care anymore?

Time passes even without a dungeon to run, especially without a dungeon so Tibs can regain his strength.

It has been decades since Tibs attempted to destroy the guild, chose to save a friend, was captured, punished, rescued, and left Kragle Rock behind to regain what he’d lost.

It’s been decades of work and research, and some progress, but Tibs doesn’t have access to a dungeon, and he learned that the guild didn’t lie about this part. Without a dungeon, getting stronger takes much longer. So long, in fact, that while his body grew, and he no longer looks like a child, although he look nowhere near the decades that have passed, Tibs has yet to break through Rho, something he did in a few years running a dungeon…and with a bit of extra help.

It’s been decades of Tibs trying to run another dungeon, but while he can change the color of his eyes, and mask the brand from those still chasing him for the guild, the security around the dungeons is such that he has yet to get close without raising alarms. Even the transportation platform are off limit because of the brand.
So it’s been decades of Tibs traveling from city to city with caravans, doing research at the academies and libraries for anything that will help him use what he has access to better. And after decades of studies, Tibs is quite good.
